Job summary

AgriVision Equipment Group and PrairieLand Partners seeks a skilled service technician to perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on John Deere forage equipment and related machines. You will follow manuals and maintain high workmanship standards.

You will communicate with customers about work performed and stay current with industry knowledge. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required; training is provided for relevant equipment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One or more years of experience performing service repairs preferred; forage experience preferred.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in off-road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment is preferred.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Performs basic diagnostics, service repairs and maintenance on forage equipment or dealer-owned machines.
• Follows Technical Manual procedures when conducting maintenance and repairs.
• Seeks direction from the Service Manager or senior technicians as necessary and communicates with customers about work performed.
• Participates in training programs required for advancing work-related skills and knowledge.
• Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
