Job summary

Riesterer & Schnell is seeking an Ag Sales Representative in Shawano, WI. The role focuses on account management within a defined territory, developing customer relationships and generating new sales opportunities for agricultural and commercial equipment.

The position offers a base wage of $50,000 with commission, with hours Monday–Friday 7:30 am–5 pm and some Saturday rotation. Strong communication, drive, and CRM experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Agri-Business or related field.
• Three plus years of sales experience in a related industry.
• Combination of education and experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and insurable driving history.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with people from all levels of the organization.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to use a computer and current software programs.

Responsibilities

• Provides top notch customer service through active account management within an assigned territory and customer base.
• Acts as a strategic business partner to customers, being a trusted advisor when it comes to making informed purchasing decisions.
• Conducts customer site visits on a routine basis to develop relationships, become knowledgeable in customer operations, identify business needs, and continually deliver solutions and value to strengthen customer loyalty.
• Generates sales opportunities through following a consistent sales process.
• Documents significant customer contacts in the company’s CRM system.
• Quickly follows-up on customer questions and pursues all opportunities through to an outcome. Documents outcomes in CRM system.
• Assures customer receives proper instruction, warranty information, operating manuals and anything else needed upon receipt of their equipment.
• Represents the Riesterer & Schnell and John Deere brands in a positive, professional manner at all times.
• Presents a positive, professional image in dress and conduct at all times.
