Job summary

Socket.dev in Owasso, OK is seeking a Large Ag Service Technician to perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on agricultural equipment. This full-time, day-shift role requires basic diagnostics, repairs, and ongoing training, with emphasis on safe practices and professional communication across locations.

You’ll work with John Deere equipment knowledge, maintain tools and inventory, and prepare reports.

Qualifications

Proven knowledge of repair methods, materials, tools, and techniques for agricultural equipment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
Experience with diagnostic software and internet functions.
Good driving record and safety habits.
High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Perform basic diagnostics on agricultural equipment and identify needed repairs.
Carry out basic repairs as directed by the Service Manager/Shop Foreman.
Participate in job-related training and development.
Prepare all reports and forms required with work assignments.
Maintain current knowledge of John Deere and competitors.
Maintain vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
Keep a clean, organized work area and follow safety practices.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
