Job summary

AKRS Equipment is seeking a diesel mechanic/technician in Ravenna, NE, to diagnose and repair agricultural and turf equipment, including AMS products. You will deliver excellent customer service, participate in ongoing training, and stay current with John Deere and competitors’ products.

The role requires 1+ years of diesel repair experience, basic computer skills, and a valid driver’s license. Safety and documentation are essential to daily duties, with opportunities for professional growth in

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic/technician performing service repairs.
• Ability to perform basic mechanical repairs and maintenance using specialized tools.
• Proficient with basic computer functions and reports.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in agricultural/turf equipment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.

What You’ll Do:

• Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment and established Ag Management Solutions (AMS) products
• Provide customers with excellent customer service
• Participate in service training programs required for the development of mechanical skills and knowledge
• Maintain current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
• Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
• Complete all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments

What You Bring:

• 1+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic / technician performing service repairs
• Ability to perform basic mechanical repairs and required maintenance using special tools and equipment
• Ability to perform basic computer functions
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in the repair of agricultural and turf equipment
