Job summary

AKRS Equipment is seeking a diesel mechanic/technician to perform diagnostics and repairs on agricultural and turf equipment, including AMS products. You will deliver excellent customer service and participate in ongoing training to advance mechanical skills.

Knowledge of John Deere equipment, safety compliance, and accurate reporting are essential as part of a collaborative team dedicated to quality and productivity.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic/technician performing service repairs.
• Ability to perform basic mechanical repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in repair of ag/turf equipment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities
