Job summary

AKRS Equipment is seeking a diesel mechanic/technician for on-site work in Nebraska. You’ll diagnose and repair agricultural equipment, serve customers with top-notch service, and participate in ongoing training to advance technical skills.

The role requires 1+ years in diesel repair, knowledge of mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems, and a valid driver's license. Associates degree preferred; HS diploma required. We emphasize safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience as a diesel mechanic/technician performing service repairs.
• Ability to perform basic mechanical repairs and maintenance using special tools and equipment.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems used in repair of agricultural and turf equipment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associates degree preferred.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

• Provide customers with excellent customer service
• Participate in service training programs required for the development of mechanical skills and knowledge
• Maintain current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products
• Follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
• Complete all reports and forms required in conjunction with work assignments

What You Bring:
