Job summary

Family Service Association is seeking a reliable and compassionate part-time 7D Van Driver for our Kids Academy & Afterschool Day programs in Fall River, MA. The role runs Monday through Friday from approximately 1:30pm to 4:30pm, with no weekends or major holidays.

The driver will transport children of various ages, assist with car seats and wheelchairs as needed, and ensure safety and adherence to MADOT rules. A value on teamwork and effective communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children is preferred.
• Professional driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport children according to established safety rules and road regulations.
• Ensure safety equipment is secured and stocked.
• Follow maintenance protocols and report service needs.
• Keep bus interior and exterior clean and free of hazards.
• Maintain daily transportation logs and complete trip inspections.
• Submit weekly trip reports and mileage/gas receipts.
