Utah State University is seeking an Afterschool Educator to supervise daily activities in the 4-H Afterschool Program at multiple Sanpete County locations, including Manti, Ephraim, Mt. Pleasant, and Fairview.

The program operates 2:30PM-5:30PM, Monday-Thursday, and aims to promote positive youth development. The Educator will collaborate with school administrators and staff, support family STEM nights, and participate in required trainings.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work during after school hours, between 2:00pm-5:30pm, and at least one evening each quarter for 4-H Family STEM Night activities.
• Must be able to work effectively with afterschool staff, USU Faculty, youth, families, and school administrators.
• Must be able to take direction from afterschool staff.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from afterschool activities and meetings at the County Extension Office.
• Must complete professional development trainings in a timely manner.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate daily afterschool activities in cooperation with afterschool staff, USU Faculty, and school administrators.
• Assist in the collection of evaluation forms, keep daily attendance records, and complete program activity summaries.
• Facilitate the implementation of quarterly 4-H Family STEM Nights.
• Assist afterschool staff in other duties as assigned.
• Attend mandatory staff and professional development meetings.
