Job summary

Launch Math + Science Centers is hiring part-time instructors to work with students individually, in small groups, and in afterschool classes. Instructors may work in the Manhattan learning center, at students' homes, virtually, or at partner schools, leading project-based STEM enrichment and math tutoring sessions.

You will teach a range of offerings, from coding with Scratch to math remediation and test prep, using Launch curricula and materials.

Qualifications

• Must love teaching and connecting with K-12 students.
• Ability to build hands-on projects and foster curiosity.
• Comfort with tutoring math or STEM topics and coding.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality instruction using Launch methods and provided materials.
• Engage students enthusiastically during sessions.
• Help students gain confidence in learning and succeeding.
• Continuously assess and improve classroom experience.
• Maintain regular communications with Launch coordinators.
