Job summary

Engineering for Kids of Las Vegas is seeking part-time instructors to lead hands-on engineering and technology projects for children aged 7–10. You will implement curricula in Aerospace, Marine, Mechanical, Chemical and Civil Engineering, plus CAD, Coding, Minecraft Engineering, and Video Game Design.

Curriculum and supplies are provided; online training and on-the-job coaching are offered.

Qualifications

• Love working with kids.
• Professional educator or former educator with classroom management experience.
• Willing to travel to different schools (Summerlin, southwest, Spring Valley).
• Weekday afternoons free to spark a love of exploration in children.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on engineering and technology projects to inspire problem-solving, collaboration and creativity.
• Teach curriculum in Aerospace, Marine, Mechanical, Chemical, Civil Engineering, CAD, Coding, Minecraft Engineering, and Video Game Design.
• Maintain classroom management and ensure safety and engagement in activities.
