Job summary

West Virginia K-12 Jobs is seeking a 21st Century Extended Learning (Afterschool) Site Coordinator for the Duval Pre K-8 program at Midway location. The role is contract/hourly, 3:00pm–5:45pm, Monday through Thursday, starting Sept 14, 2026, with an expected first day Sept 15, 2026.

Responsibilities include planning activities, supervising staff, transporting coordination, and working with school staff to support student learning.

Qualifications

• Must have valid WV teaching certificate and be a current Lincoln County Schools teacher or administrator.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to plan and coordinate after-school program activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and coordinate day-to-day operation of the 21st Century program with STEM, math, and reading enrichment.
• Monitor staff attendance and manage student attendance records via the 21st Century App.
• Cover classes when substitutes are not available and supervise students.
• Coordinate with transportation, food service, and school personnel to support program delivery.
• Develop assessment strategies and alignment with school improvement goals.
