Job summary

City of Folsom is seeking CAVE Staff Recreation Leaders to support the Community & Cultural Services Division by running afterschool activities for middle school students.

Under Recreation Coordinators and Site Leads, you will facilitate arts, sports, games, drama, music, and homework help, while ensuring a safe, engaging program environment. This is a part-time, non-exempt position with hours after school and occasional meetings.

Qualifications

• Requires clear communication with children, parents, and staff.
• Requires ability to work in a team and follow directions.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to obtain required certifications.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate afterschool activities (arts, crafts, sports, games, drama, music, homework help).
• Communicate effectively with children, parents, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for participants.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
