Job summary

Arc Experience in La Jolla, CA is hiring a Site Coordinator for our after-school program. You will supervise staff, plan and oversee activities, and build partnerships with schools and families.

This full-time role requires 2+ years in after-school operations and 1+ year of team leadership, plus strong communication. Benefits are provided. You will lead a team to create a safe, engaging environment for students.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in after-school programming operations and admin duties.
• 1+ year in team management.
• Strong communication with kids, parents, admins, and teachers.
• Ability to supervise staff with minimal direction.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
• TB test and Live Scan background check; CPR/First Aid within 12 months.
• English-Spanish bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee daily afterschool programs and activities.
• Recruit, train, and manage afterschool program staff.
• Serve as primary point of contact for school administration and foster partnerships.
• Develop staff schedules and conduct performance evaluations.
• Provide ongoing professional development for staff.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive environment and address student behavior positively.
• Monitor attendance and engagement and coordinate with parents and staff.
