Job summary

Catholic Charities Boston is seeking an Out of School Time Site Coordinator in Peabody, MA, to oversee day-to-day operations of an afterschool program, ensuring growth in academics, social-emotional development and health. Hours are Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m.

to 6:00 p.m., at 13 Pulaski Street, Peabody. The role requires a strong background in early education, supervisory experience, and the ability to work with families, teachers and community partners to provide quality services and

Qualifications

• Associate degree in child care education or equivalent with 3–5 years’ supervisory experience.
• Motivated, energetic, punctual and responsible; strong role model.
• Proficient verbal and written communication; strong relationship-building.
• Writing and typing with attention to detail.
• Ability to lead, teach and interact with parents, employees, teachers, children.
• Experience with QRIS and related assessment materials.
• Knowledge of EEC regulations.
• Commitment to the mission of Catholic Charities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and instill a strong positive program culture among staff and families.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with schools connected to the program.
• Participate in internal networking meetings with CCAB staff.
• Establish a system for communicating with parents and school personnel for individual student needs and assessments.
• Design and distribute newsletters to the parents and school community highlighting the program’s successes.
• Supervise employee performance and participate in annual performance appraisals.
