Community Youth Center of San Francisco (CYC) is seeking a part-time Program Leader to design and oversee enrichment activities for middle school youth at the Aptos Beacon Center. The role includes creating curriculum across arts, tutoring, and cultural activities and coordinating with school and Beacon staff.

The ideal candidate has experience in youth development, classroom management, and restorative practices, with strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree preferred or 48 college units completed.
• Experience planning and facilitating enrichment activities for youth.
• Experience with classroom management and restorative practices a plus.
• Bilingual in Cantonese/Mandarin, Spanish, or Tagalog preferred.
• Able to lift or move at least 25lbs.

Aufgaben

• Develop and oversee skill-building and project-based learning activities for middle school youth.
• Provide academic tutoring and assist students with daily homework as needed.
• Establish and maintain a positive and safe learning environment, including behavior management using restorative practices.
• Create marketing strategies and promotional materials to recruit and retain youth in afterschool programs.
• Collaborate with school and Beacon staff to coordinate cultural celebrations and culminating events.
• Work with school faculty and parents/guardians to maintain strong communication and positive relationships.
• Assist with data collection and produce programmatic reports as requested.
• Assist with administering and collecting evaluation data as required by funders.
• Participate in regular staff meetings and ongoing training opportunities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of shared program spaces.
• Complete other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
