Job summary

Here We Grow Early Learning Center is seeking an energetic Afterschool Program Leader for our Coral Cove Childcare Center location at the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium. Every afternoon includes homework help, hands-on activities, and opportunities to help school-age children learn, grow, and have fun in a safe, supportive environment.

You will lead activities, create a welcoming environment, supervise indoor and outdoor play, and collaborate with teachers to ensure the day runs smoothly.

Qualifications

• CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
• Food Handler's Permit or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging activities, games, crafts, and homework time for school-age children
• Create a safe, positive, and welcoming environment where every child feels included
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities while promoting kindness and teamwork
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to run the program smoothly daily

What You'll Do:

• Lead engaging activities, games, crafts, and homework time for school‑age children.
• Create a safe, positive, and welcoming environment where every child feels included.

• Partner with fellow teachers to help the program run smoothly each day.

What We're Looking For:

• Dependable, organized, and able to manage a group with confidence and care.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• CPR, First Aid, and Food Handler's Permit (or willingness to obtain - we'll help you!).
