Job summary

ROCS Grad Staffing seeks a responsible individual to oversee an after-school program for students in grades 3 through 11, from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM. You will create a safe, supportive environment, help with homework, and ensure the room is ready and students are engaged with quiet activities.

Responsibilities include supervising students, assisting with homework, coordinating with the front desk for parent communications, managing pickups, and maintaining order and a positive group atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communication with students, parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students after-school, ensuring safety and well-being.
• Assist students with homework and provide basic academic support.
• Coordinate with the front desk for parent communications.
• Manage staggered pickups from 3:30 PM to 5:45 PM, with a 6:00 PM grace period.
• Set up the room by 3:15 PM and supervise snack time.
• Maintain a social, engaging environment for students.
