Job summary

The Dallas YMCA is hiring part-time Afterschool Preschool Teachers to support 2-4 year olds with engaging curriculum and activities.

You will lead activities including music, games, and arts and crafts while ensuring safety and following state guidelines. 18+ with a high school diploma is required; a bachelor’s degree is preferred. 30 hours of annual training and background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old and have a High School Diploma or GED.
• A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
• Teachers are required to complete 30 hours of training annually.

Responsibilities

• Implement afterschool curriculum and activities for a 2-4 year old class in a preschool environment.
• Administer group activities that are fun and include music, games, arts and crafts.
• Follow the DFPS minimum standards and YMCA curriculum; ensure safety at all times.
