Job summary

Home Work Staffing is seeking a reliable part-time nanny in Somerville, MA to care for a 5-year-old boy on weekday afternoons. The role starts with light chores, then school pickup, transportation to activities, and attentive care through the early evening.

The ideal candidate has professional childcare experience, a valid driver's license, and can commit to a long-term, live-out placement with guaranteed hours each week. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Prior professional childcare experience.
• Reliable, punctual, and engaging with young children.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle.
• 3–5 professional references.
• Committed to a long-term placement.

Responsibilities

• Light housekeeping, including dishes, laundry, and general tidying.
• Family meal preparation for dinner.
• School pickup and transportation to and from scheduled activities.
• Engaging, attentive care for a 5-year-old through the early evening.
• Maintaining a safe, organized, and enjoyable environment for the child.
