Job summary

The Nanny Poppins Agency is seeking a dependable, long-term part-time nanny in Madison, NJ to care for a 9-year-old and a 13-year-old after school. The role includes picking up from school, driving to activities, meal prep, and household tidying. A valid driver’s license and CPR/First Aid certification are required.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–6:00 PM with 20 guaranteed hours per week. Family vehicle and parking are provided.

Qualifications

Prior experience caring for school-age children and/or teens.
Valid driver's license and comfortable driving the family’s vehicle.
Strong cooking skills for kids and family.
Long-term commitment to the role.
Availability Monday–Friday, 2:00–6:00 PM.
Current CPR/First Aid certification.
Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references

Responsibilities

Daily school pickup and safe transportation to sports, activities, and play dates.
Homework support and organization of school assignments.
Cooking and meal prep for the children and family.
Family laundry.
Unloading the dishwasher and tidying the home.
Encouraging screen-free activities and age-appropriate independence.
Clear, consistent communication with parents about daily activities.
