Job summary

Minnesota PBS Lifelong Learning Specialist sought to implement in-person educational programming across the Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota, collaborating with the Children’s Media and Education manager. The role focuses on staffing afterschool programming and fostering partnerships with youth organizations.

Primary duties include Learn Academies programming (80%), PBS Pathways activities (15%), and other duties (5%), with hybrid work and relocation to the Twin Cities metro as needed.

Qualifications

• 3 years in classroom or afterschool learning spaces.
• 2 years in project management.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field.

Responsibilities

• Implement Learn Academies programming with focus on STEM, literacy and SEL.
• Coordinate PBS Pathways activities with AVID educators and InspireMPS staff.
• Serve as onsite contact for partner organizations and manage scheduling.
• Support Lifelong Learning team and assist in reporting and development.
