East Bay Agency for Children is hiring Afterschool Instructors to support TK–5 students with academic and enrichment programming, in-person or virtual. The role focuses on building academic skills, supervising homework, and exposing students to varied classes to foster interests and confidence.

The position requires at least 48 college units or IA exam eligibility, reliable transport, and a clean background check. Bilingual capacity may add pay per hour.

Competenze

• Completion of 48 college semester units or successful completion of the IA exam.
• Reliable transportation and background check clearance.
• Two years’ teaching or enrichment experience preferred, including virtual settings.

• Develop project-based lessons aligned with goals and student input.
• Submit weekly lesson plans and communicate progress with parents.
• Lead in-person or virtual enrichment and academic lessons for groups of 10–20.
