Job summary

Kids Plus in Cabarrus County School District, Concord, North Carolina, is looking for a K+ Group Leader to provide supervised enrichment education and recreational activities for school‑age children in a licensed childcare center. The role is part‑time with immediate start, pay grade NC01, and $16.07 per hour.

The candidate must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and complete required background checks and trainings within specified timelines, while demonstrating reliability and a genuine love

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have or obtain background check and qualification letter for NC Child Care (renew every 3 years).
• Complete required trainings within stated timeframes (orientation, CPR/First Aid, health and safety).
• Demonstrate pleasant disposition, patience, flexibility, and a love for children.
• Demonstrate punctuality and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Open and prepare the center for daily activities and programs.
• Provide supervision and interaction with groups of children.
• Ensure physical safety and support developmental needs.
• Plan and implement weekly activity plans with CCS/KIDS:PLUS policies.
• Facilitate communication with parents and lead group time and activities.
• Maintain compliance with child care rules and center policies.
