Job summary

KACEE eeCorps UFM seeks an ABLE Program Assistant to support the after-school program operations for K–5 students in Kansas. Under the ABLE Program Coordinator, you will help with activity setup, student supervision, and classroom support to create a safe, engaging learning environment.

You will work with K-State programs, teens, and community volunteers, assisting with transitions, check-in/out, and behavior management, while promoting youth development and a welcoming space.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work with youth and volunteers in a team.
• Commitment to youth development and safe programming.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily program operations and activity setup/cleanup.
• Supervise and engage K–5 students in a safe, welcoming environment.
• Support volunteers during classes and enrichment activities.
• Help with preparation and organization of program materials and supplies.
• Communicate with the Program Coordinator regarding student needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized program space and ensure safety procedures.
