Job summary

Vertex Education seeks an energetic After School Program Aide to support K–8 students in a structured after-school setting. You will follow a set schedule, prepare activities, and create a welcoming space that encourages positive behavior and learning.

You will supervise and assist students during transitions, meals, homework time, and outdoor activities, while collaborating with teachers and staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to interact positively with students, parents, teachers and administrators.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Previous experience with children is a value add.
• Create a safe, engaging environment and collaborate with staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, organize, and execute scheduled activities.
• Supervise students to ensure safety and positive behavior.
• Monitor outdoor play and meal/snack times.
• Provide homework assistance and support.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of activity areas.
