Chess Wizards in Boylston, MA, seeks enthusiastic Assistant Instructors for our after-school enrichment program. You’ll help run engaging chess classes for elementary students and mentor young players in a supportive, fun environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in teaching, tutoring, camp counseling, or similar is a plus.
• Positive, kid-friendly demeanor and reliability are essential.
• Ability to follow directions and support classroom management.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chess Instructor in setting up and managing a chess class for 15–22 elementary students.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group support to students with piece movements and basic concepts.
• Support activities, keep students engaged, and reinforce positive behavior.
