Chess Wizards, Inc. is seeking enthusiastic instructors to join our after-school program in Brooklyn, NY. Lead fun, interactive chess classes for elementary students, using our structured curriculum and safety protocols.

This role offers competitive pay per class, flexible hours (1–5 classes weekly), and mileage reimbursement for travel between local schools. A kid-friendly, reliable instructor with transportation is ideal.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching or tutoring groups of children.
• Ability to lead a class independently and engage students.
• Positive, kid-friendly demeanor and strong classroom presence.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel between schools.
• Weekday afternoon availability 2:00–5:00 PM for 1–5 classes.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, interactive chess classes for 10–15 students.
• Teach fundamentals using our structured curriculum.
• Manage a lively classroom with confidence and energy.
• Encourage problem solving, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Travel to local school sites for each session.
