Job summary

Chess Wizards, Inc. is seeking enthusiastic instructors in Framingham, MA to lead after-school chess classes for elementary students. You will deliver a fun, structured curriculum, foster a positive classroom environment, and travel to local school sites as needed.

Ideal candidates will have experience teaching children, strong reliability, and the ability to engage students with chess fundamentals, problem-solving, and creative thinking in a supportive, safety-conscious setting.

Qualifications

• Experience working with groups of children in educational, recreational, or mentoring settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead fun, interactive chess classes for 10-15 elementary students.
• Teach chess fundamentals using a structured curriculum.
• Manage a lively, engaging classroom with confidence.
• Encourage problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Follow school safety protocols during arrival, dismissal, and in-class activities.
• Travel to various local school sites for each session.
• Arrive prepared and ready to engage students.
