Chess Wizards, Inc. is seeking enthusiastic instructors to join our after-school program in Tenafly, NJ. You will lead fun, interactive chess classes for elementary students, following our curriculum and promoting good sportsmanship.

Responsibilities include managing a lively classroom, traveling to local schools, and arriving prepared. Flexible schedule offers 1–5 classes per week in weekday afternoons.

Qualifications

• Experience working with groups of children in educational or recreational settings.
• Ability to lead a class independently and create engaging, fun sessions.
• Solid chess fundamentals and ability to explain basics to children.

Responsibilities

• Lead interactive chess classes for 10–15 elementary students.
• Use structured curriculum to teach chess fundamentals and sportsmanship.
• Manage a lively classroom with confidence and positivity.
• Encourage problem-solving, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Follow school safety protocols during arrival, dismissal, and activities.
• Travel to local school sites for each session.
