Job summary

Whitefield Academy Preschool seeks an afterschool staff member to support the Extended Care program. You will help prepare afterschool activities, supervise children, and ensure health and safety while following state and school guidelines in a Christian environment.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily classroom routines, completing attendance and accident reports, attending after-hours training, and maintaining positive interactions with children and staff.

Qualifications

• Read, speak, and write English.
• High School diploma.
• Able to stand 90% of the time and lift 35 pounds.
• Church attendance and be able to provide a testimony when prompted.
• Attend 15 hours of training after hours for state compliance.

• Have positive, professional, and helpful interactions with the children and other staff members.
• Multi-tasking is important and necessary.
• Attend 15 hours of training after hours to keep state compliance. Must be able to put the training into practice in the classroom.
• Understand the Afterschool care structure and goals for the program.
• Complete all daily classroom paperwork and record keeping - attendance, accident reports.
• Be able to work from 3:00-6:00 p.m. starting in August.

At Whitefield Academy Preschool, we are currently looking for employees to staff our afterschool program each day. We are looking for Christian employees to work in a Christian environment on a regular basis to provide quality care for our students.
