Job summary

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee is seeking an Academic Coordinator to support Mitchell's after‑school program with school-aligned, data-driven academic activities for up to six hours per week. This seasonal, academic-year role collaborates with school staff to achieve shared academic outcomes.

You will liaise between the day school and the Club, recruit students in need using data criteria, and develop enrichment plans while monitoring progress with school teams and providing staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field required.
• Wisconsin Teaching Certificate required.
• Experience as a teacher or school support teacher in the district is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Liaise between the day school and the Club to align curriculum and share information.
• Identify and recruit students with academic need using data and criteria for program participation.
• Develop a CLC Program Plan for academic enrichment.
• Collect, analyze, and evaluate student data to assess program effectiveness.
• Meet with School Support Teacher and attend LT/BIT meetings to advise academic programming.
• Communicate weekly with classroom teachers about student progress and needs.
• Review attendance and contact families as needed.
• Provide instructional materials and support staff/volunteers in program delivery.
• Oversee assessments and surveys for students and monitor progress.
• Facilitate professional development for staff and volunteers.
