Job summary

ExpertCare in Southeast Michigan is seeking Youth Mentors to work 1:1 with recipients in clients' homes, providing encouragement and helping with skill-building activities.

You will also bring recipients into the community to support growth of personal goals outside of the home, with opportunities for full- and part-time roles and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to recipients in home settings.
• Encourage skill-building activities and independent living.
• Accompany recipients into the community to achieve goals.
• Follow care plans and document progress.
