Job summary

Middlebury College seeks a student worker to assist in all areas of technical theatre production (excluding costumes). You will build scenery and properties, hang and focus lights, sew and paint to support productions.

You will work two afternoons per week, roughly 1:30 to 5:00 PM, at the Midd student wage scale of $14.50 per hour. Prior hands-on experience and basic math ability are required to perform these tasks safely on campus.

Qualifications

• Prior hands-on work experience such as home projects or school/volunteer projects requiring hands-on work.
• Ability to do basic math.
• Physical mobility necessary.

• Assist in all areas of technical theatre production, except costumes.
• Build scenery and properties; hang and focus lights; sew and paint.
