Job summary

Intermountain Electronics (IE) is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Technician for the Afternoon Shift at our Price, Utah facility. Reporting to the Final Assembly Supervisor, you will install cable trays, buss bars, doors, siding, and various electrical components on E-houses, metering skids, and control centers.

The role requires a High School Diploma with at least one year of related experience, ability to read wiring schematics, experience with hand tools, and physical ability to lift up to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus one year of skilled labor in heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Ability to read and understand wiring schematics and layout diagrams.
• Experience with various hand tools.
• Self-motivated and capable of working in a team with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Install cable trays, bus bars, doors/siding, and electrical components on electrical equipment.
• Assemble structural frames, install roof panels, and mount sub-assemblies.
• Follow quality procedures to verify mechanical integrity of units.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues; adjust components to specifications.
• Maintain safe work area and meet production deadlines.
