Job summary

Howmet Dover is seeking a Group Leader – Metal Workcell (Afternoon Shift) for on-site operations in Dover, New Jersey. You will oversee daily manufacturing activities, train and assist operators, and lead continuous improvement projects to meet production schedules.

You will coordinate with the Production Planner and supervision team, ensure training and safety requirements are met, and actively communicate issues related to safety, quality, and productivity across shifts and departments.

Qualifications

• Legal authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• On-site role based in Dover, NJ.
• Access to export-controlled items may be required.

Responsibilities

• Schedule department work and coordinate with planning to meet customer schedules.
• Lead change initiatives and drive quality and cost improvements.
• Ensure NES/hourly reports and training are completed.
• Participate in performance appraisals and communicate issues to supervision.
• Develop and implement Synchronous Manufacturing initiatives.
• Support other departments as needed.
