Cosentino's Price Chopper #325 in Grain Valley, MO is hiring a Pharmacy Technician for afternoons (12pm-7pm). You will assist customers with prescriptions, coordinate with Pharmacist, handle transactions, and maintain accurate patient records.

The role requires basic pharmacy knowledge, customer service skills, and familiarity with pharmacy software. On-site position with a non-exempt status in a retail setting.

Competenze

• Completion of ongoing training per Cosentino Learning Plan.
• Pharmacy technician certification is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Retail Pharmacy Software and POS system preferred.

Mansioni

• Receive new and refilled prescriptions from customers for filling.
• Verify name and address and prescriber information for prescriptions.
• Process cash register transactions for prescriptions.
• Provide instructions, side effects and medication descriptions to customers.
• Arrange consultations with the Pharmacist when requested.
• Obtain signatures from customers for prescriptions.
• Answer incoming calls and route to Pharmacist as appropriate.
• Complete and process third-party documents.
• Fill prescription books and new prescriptions.
• Maintain patient profiles and stock shelves.
• Ensure shelf life and stock freshness of items.
• Maintain cleanliness of pharmacy shelves and work areas.
