Job summary

Phillips Chevrolet is seeking an Afternoon Part-time Porter to join our Illinois dealership. The position offers approximately 25-28 hours per week with afternoon and evening shifts and Saturdays.

We value energy, reliability, and a strong work ethic to support our award-winning team. Responsibilities include maintaining the appearance of new and used vehicles, moving cars as directed, cleaning, and assisting service and showroom teams.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work afternoon and evening shifts, including Saturdays.
• Good driving record and valid driver’s license.
• Willing to undergo pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Positive attitude and reliable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning interior and exterior, replenishing fluids, and replacing batteries as needed.
• Places buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
• Keeps lots neat and orderly, moves cars as directed by the GM and displays standards.
• Cleans driveway and sidewalks.
• Drives vehicles to service lane, stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Makes key tags for vehicles.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Maintains new- and used-vehicle inventory appearance and performance by cleaning interior and exterior of vehicles, replenishing all vehicle fluids as needed, and replacing batteries when necessary.
• Places buyer guides and stock tags in vehicles.
• Keeps new- and used-vehicle lots neat and orderly, moving cars as directed by the general manager and in accordance with dealership display standards.
• Cleans driveway and sidewalks
• Drives vehicles to and from service lane, service stalls, and parking lot as needed.
• Makes key tags for vehicles.
