Home Work Staffing seeks a part-time Nanny/House Manager for a family in Saddle River, NJ. The role focuses on after-school care for three school-age children (ages 9, 11, 14), including driving, meal prep, and homework support, with a collaborative approach alongside the live-in nanny.

The position offers guaranteed 25 hours per week, paid holidays, sick and personal days, and a company-provided vehicle for work-related driving; schedule is Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–8:00 PM, with a year-round

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of professional nanny experience with school-age children
• Valid driver- license and confident, comfortable driving daily; the majority of this role involves driving
• Current CPR and First Aid certification
• Able to swim and comfortable swimming with the children
• Strong cooking skills and comfort preparing family meals from scratch
• Experience supporting homework for elementary through high school-age children
• Highly organized with strong scheduling and time-management skills
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working alongside other household staff
• Positive, upbeat, and able to work well with a family that values achievement, goal-setting, and independence
• Reliable, punctual, and able to commit long-term
• Must be able to provide 3–5 professional references

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, engaged care for three school-age children during afternoon and evening hours
• Handle school and activity pickups and transport children safely to and from practices, appointments, and social commitments
• Coordinate timing across three separate activity schedules
• Prepare afternoon snacks and cook family dinners
• Assist with homework and support school assignments across elementary, middle, and high school levels
• Encourage independence, routine, and age-appropriate responsibility
• Manage grocery needs related to meal preparation and clean up kitchen and dining areas following meals
• Children's laundry, including washing, folding, and putting away
• Light tidying of children's bedrooms, play areas, and common spaces used during the shift
• Maintain organization of school supplies, sports equipment, and activity gear
• Track the children's activity, school, and appointment calendars and communicate schedule changes clearly
• Coordinate and share responsibilities with the family's live-in nanny
• Supervise the children safely around the pool
