Job summary

Mitchell Plastics is seeking a Material Handler for the Afternoon Shift (3p-11p) at the Huntsville, AL facility. This role supports molding operations, ensuring material readiness and clean, safe production areas.

You will manage material flow between machines, grinders, storage, and warehouse, and coordinate with the next shift for mold changes. The position requires a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent and forklift/material handling experience; strong attention to safety and accurate labeling are

Qualifications

• Forklift operation and material handling knowledge.
• Familiarity with Quality and Environmental Management System procedures.
• Ability to work with production forms, tags and labels.

Responsibilities

• Supply production equipment with correct materials and maintain a clean, safe production area.
• Follow FIFO inventory practices and report unidentified materials.
• Keep hoppers full, grinders emptied, and materials identified.
• Coordinate mold changes and upcoming tasks with the next shift.
• Break down empty gaylords and ensure items are scanned before moving to the warehouse.
