The Sunshine Academy in Laurel, MT is seeking an Afternoon Lead Teacher and Closing Supervisor to lead our afternoon team and ensure a strong finish to each day. This full-time role starts with a schedule of approximately 11:00am to 6:00pm and an hourly pay range of $14 to $15, DOE.

You will model positivity, maintain classroom ratios, and support families and staff with calm leadership. You will work across classrooms, guide staff, and help create a safe, nurturing environment where children

Qualifications

• Experience leading afternoon staff and maintaining safety and care standards.
• Ability to guide staff, build positive relationships with children and families, and communicate with leadership.
• Willingness to jump in and model Sunshine Academy values and culture.

Responsabilités

• Support and lead afternoon staff across classrooms.
• Keep classrooms in ratio and maintain high standards of care through the afternoon.
• Assist with coverage, transitions, breaks, and end-of-day routines.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
• Model Sunshine Academy expectations and culture.
• Communicate important updates to leadership and staff.
• Lead closing procedures and make sure the building is secure and ready for the next day.
