Cornerstone Preschool and Childcare is seeking a passionate afternoon float to support our nurturing environment for young learners. This part-time role suits high school students seeking flexible hours that work with school and sports schedules.

You will assist with implementing curriculum, supporting development, and communicating with families while ensuring a clean, safe classroom and help with meals, diapering, and nap routines.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• CPR and First Aid certification required or willingness to obtain.
• Patient, nurturing, and compassionate demeanor.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• Assist lead teacher in implementing age-appropriate curriculum.
• Provide care and support for children's physical, emotional, and social development.
• Communicate effectively with parents and provide updates on their child's progress.

The directors work extra hard to make sure Cornerstone is the best. The endless amounts of “thank yous” we get as staff is unbelievable. Any help within the classroom, they are there to provide all the support, advice, and resources. They also are always exceptional at making sure Cornerstone is a team. With staff outings, meetings, and fun activities as a whole center.

Cornerstone is a second home to me. Each classroom is a welcoming safe place to all children who are there to learn, grow, laugh and be loved every day. I have already grown exponentially as a teacher the year I have been a part of the Cornerstone team. I really couldn’t think of a better place to share a love for teaching than at Cornerstone.
