Job summary

Sealed Air is seeking a safety-focused Extrusion Operator for the afternoon shift to join our manufacturing team. You will operate extrusion lines, monitor quality, and support efficient production in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong mechanical aptitude, and good troubleshooting skills. This role offers a $1.00 shift premium and pay of $24.00–$28.00 per hour, plus comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to learn manufacturing equipment.
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and process issues with sound judgment.
• Commitment to workplace safety and product quality.
• Effective written and verbal communication, including basic email.
• Ability to use computers to monitor equipment and document production data.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Overtime flexibility to support production needs.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and shut down extrusion lines per SOC and safety procedures.
• Ensure product quality by inspecting film samples and using lab testing equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate with Maintenance and Process Engineering.
• Follow production schedules and maintain accurate records via computerized systems.
• Maintain a safe work environment and use PPE as required.
• Support equipment reliability through preventive maintenance activities.
• Keep the workspace clean, organized, and safe for production.
• Safely operate material handling equipment as required.
