Job summary

Qualifications

• Custodial/cleaning experience in institutional or commercial settings.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to operate powered and manual cleaning equipment safely.
• Maintain a safe work environment.
• Ability to train and supervise workers and perform a range of cleaning tasks.
• Must walk/stand for long periods; lift up to 35 lbs; climb stairs; perform bending and other motions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, schedule, direct, and inspect custodial workers.
• Train employees and administer performance plans.
• Resolve complaints and monitor inventory and equipment.
• Monitor snow/ice removal and outside area cleaning.
• Maintain operations during the supervisor's absence and emergencies.
