Job summary

Sioux Falls School District's John F. Kennedy Elementary seeks a dedicated Education Support Professional to assist teachers and support student learning and well-being. Position is 0.375 FTE (15 hours/week) for 9 months, Monday through Friday, 11:30 am to 2:30 pm.

Starting wage is $18.42 per hour with monthly pay following the payroll cutoff schedule. The role involves light administrative tasks, data entry, and transportation of students if required, while maintaining confidentiality and

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skill using a computer for word processing and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Assists teacher in identifying student needs.
• Provides tutorial assistance for students in all classes.
• Prepares instruction and supplementary materials.
• Keeps records.
• Checks papers, workbooks, homework and tests.
• Assists students with makeup work.
• Maintains student confidentiality.
• Assists teachers in supervising students in the classroom.
• May be requested by administration to transport students using personal vehicle.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors.
