Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Irving is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department to provide direct patient care, triage, and documentation for all ages and acuities. The unit operates with a 4:1 patient ratio in a 55-bed ED, with trauma and stroke center designations in development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
• License/Certification as RN.
• RN - Registered Nurse with min of 1 year ED Experience.
• BLS - Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire).
• ENPC and TNCC.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care and documentation of patients presenting to ED with variety of complaints.
• Triage, manage higher-acuity areas, express care/fast track for lower-acuity patients.
• Staff rotate to various areas based on experience and training.
