Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health – Lake Pointe in Rowlett, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This Level III trauma center sees roughly 100 patients per day and serves pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.

Full-Time Night shift, 1:4-5 patient ratios, 20 beds, and a $10,000 sign-on bonus for external candidates with at least 2 years of ED experience. Candidates must have an RN license and be able to meet BLS, TNCC, and ENPC within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Must have minimum of 2 years true, recent Emergency Department RN experience.
• RN license required; BLS will be provided or obtained within 30 days if not current.
• TNCC or ENPC required/obtain within 18 months of hire or transfer

Responsibilities

• Provide ED nursing care for pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.
• Collaborate with trauma and ED teams to manage chest pain and stroke cases.
