Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care in Shoreline, WA is seeking a compassionate CNA, HCA, or Caregiver to provide in-home care focused on daily living support, safety, and preserving dignity and independence for the client.

You will transport the client to appointments, assist with meals, and follow the care plan while communicating with family and the care team. The role offers a part-time schedule with about 20 hours per week and a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Current Washington CNA or HCA credential.
• CPR certification from American Heart Association.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
• Ability to follow established care plans independently.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

CNA / HCA / CAREGIVER NEEDED – SHORELINE, WA

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and caring CNA, HCA, or Caregiver to provide personalized in-home care for a client in Shoreline, Washington.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping others maintain their comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of life.

A VALID DRIVER’S LICENSE AND RELIABLE, INSURED VEHICLE ARE REQUIRED. The caregiver must be able to transport the client as needed for medical appointments, errands, shopping, and other activities.

SCHEDULE

Monday–Friday | 10:00 AM–2:00 PM

Part-time position, approximately 20 hours per week. Other shifts may also be available.

COMPENSATION

$21.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on experience and assignment.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support with daily living activities while creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for the client. You will work independently while following the client's care plan and communicating with the family and care team as needed.

Safe transportation and assistance with community activities are important parts of this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with personal care, hygiene, bathing, dressing, and mobility as needed.
• Support safe ambulation and movement inside and outside the home.
• Transport the client safely to medical appointments, errands, shopping, and other activities.
• Assist the client safely in and out of the vehicle.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements.
• Provide medication reminders as directed.
• Assist with prescribed exercises and recommended activities.
• Offer companionship and engage the client in meaningful activities.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Assist with shopping and accompany the client on errands.
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition or behavior.
• Communicate effectively with the client, family, and care team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
• Keep the vehicle clean and safe when transporting the client.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and unusual situations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current, active Washington State CNA or HCA credential, as applicable to the position.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association, as required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable, insured vehicle.
• Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable approach to caregiving.
• Ability to work independently and follow established care plans.
• Basic housekeeping and meal preparation skills.
• Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform the physical duties required for caregiving.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of a background check and reference verification.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• $21.00–$23.00 per hour.
• Consistent Monday–Friday daytime schedule.
