AFTERNOON/EVENING CAREGIVER NEEDED - KENT, WA

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and caring CNA, HCA,to provide personalized in-home care for a client in Kent, Washington.

SCHEDULE

Part-Time | 2:00 PM-6:00 PM

• Approximately 4 hours per shift
• Part-time afternoon schedule
• Specific workdays to be confirmed
• Other shifts may also be available

COMPENSATION

$21.00-$23.00 per hour, depending on experience and assignment.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Caregiver, you will provide essential support with daily living activities while creating a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for the client. You will work independently while following the client's care plan and communicating with the family and care team as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with personal care, hygiene, bathing, and dressing as needed.
• Support safe ambulation and mobility inside and outside the home.
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements.
• Provide medication reminders as directed.
• Assist with prescribed exercises and recommended activities.
• Provide companionship and engage the client in meaningful activities.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Assist with daily routines and activities.
• Observe and report changes in the client's condition or behavior.
• Communicate effectively with the client, family, and care team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
• Respond appropriately to emergencies and unusual situations.

REQUIREMENTS

• Current, active Washington State CNA or HCA credential, as applicable to the position.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association, as required.
• Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable approach to caregiving.
• Ability to work independently and follow established care plans.
• Basic housekeeping and meal preparation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good time-management and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform the physical duties required for caregiving.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Successful completion of a background check and reference verification.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

• $21.00-$23.00 per hour.
