Job summary

ExpertCare is seeking an Afternoon Caregiver to work 1:1 with Recipients in clients' homes across Southeast Michigan. You will support, encourage and help with skill-building activities while helping recipients engage with community goals beyond the home environment.

The role offers a flexible schedule and opportunities for paid training, with full- and part-time positions available. Ideal candidates are compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 care in clients' homes.
• Support, encourage and help with skill-building activities for Recipients.
• Transport Recipients to community activities and goals.
• Work with Southeast Michigan Community of Mental Health Recipients in a flexible schedule.
