Job summary

ExpertCare is seeking reliable, compassionate Caregivers to work 1:1 with our Recipients in their homes across Southeast Michigan, including Westland. You will support, encourage and help with skill-building activities while promoting independence and personal growth.

Full and part-time positions are available. You will also help our Recipients participate in community activities to expand goals outside of the home, with paid training and a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Comfortable supporting individuals with varying abilities.
• Reliable transportation to and from assignments.
• Ability to pass required background checks and screenings.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 in-home care and support.
• Encourage skill-building activities with Recipients.
• Take recipients into the community to support goals.
• Follow care plans and communicate progress.
